Mount Tomamu (トマム山 Tomamu-san)

is located in the Hidaka

mountains in Hokkaido, Japan

​Built during the boom of the late 1980s. The exteriors of these buildings have recently been redecorated by Klein Dytham architecture (KDa) of Shibuya, Tokyo to make them harmonize better with their surroundings.

Mount Tomamu is home to four big resorts:

  • Village Alpha

  • Club Med Tomamu

  • Hoshino Hotel

  • Risonare Hotel

EASY ACCESS

from Chitose Airport

ADULT 4100 yen

CHILD 3100 yen

Hourly JR limited express trains run between Sapporo and Tomamu Stations. The trip takes around 90-100 minutes, costs about 4500 yen. Free shuttle buses operate between the Tomamu Station and the Village Alpha

2.5 hours drive from Sapporo city. Car rental is available from the airport or different prefectures.

 

It is a great way to see Hokkaido.

Visitors would need international driving licenses.
