Arriving at TomamuX
Check in
Please note that check-in is from 3 pm to 9 pm.
Please note that the front desk is open until 10 pm and if you are caught in traffic and will be late, please contact the front office at 0167-57-2311.

Baggage storage
If you arrive early or plan to leave early, you can leave your bags at the reception areas while you explore the resort.
This service is FREE for all TomamuX guests

Apartment folder/key
When you check in, the front office staff will provide guests with a folder filled with information about the resort and the apartment key.

Check out
Check out is between 8 am to 10 am.
Early check out can be arrange the next night before.

Wifi
Wi-Fi is only available in the front office lobby, which is quite near our apartments.
Should you require Wi-Fi at all times, we suggest that you obtain a pocket Wi-Fi at the airport, which can be used in Japan.

Apartment Features
Duplex Apartment
Our apartment is a duplex, with the entrance and bedroom on the upper level, and living area, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet, on the lower level.

Lower Level
A great place to relax and unwind. Equipped with leather sofa and a 42 inch flat panel tv, guests can enjoy watching hokkaido channels while resting. The living room also offers you a beautiful view of the mountains!

No Smoking
We do not allow smoking in our apartment as our apartment caters to families with young children.

Cleaning Services
As our apartment is not a hotel, there will be no daily cleaning service. There is a vacuum cleaner in the cupboard which you can use.
For guests who stay longer than 3 days, we will provide a change of linen and towels on the 4th day.

Hair Dryer
Hair dryer is available near the bathroom area.

Winter Sledge
FREE to use, available in the apartment

Top floor
On top floor, there are two single beds and a bunk bed. Sleeps 4 guests and it offers a great view of the scenery around Mt Tomamu

MINI KITCHEN
Due to the strict fire safety guidelines in the building, we do not allow guests to cook meals in the apartment.
However, we have provided kettle & cups for hot drinks and a microwave for microwavable meals.

Towels/Bed Linens
Fresh towels, pillow case and bed sheet will be provided for you in the room after check in.
Kindly note that if you are travelling with young children under 6 years of age who will be sharing your bed, no towels and bed linen will be provided for them.
Do let us know if you need towels and bed linen for your child, additional surcharges may be added.

Additional Heater
Tomamu is one of the coldest parts of Japan, so the winter might get a bit chilly for some.
While there is central heating system, we have provided two additional small heaters for guests who need a bit more warmth.
If you use the heaters, please be careful not to touch them (especially children) as they can get quite hot.

Footwear
Please remove your shoes when you enter the apartment.

Washing Machine
You may use the The Village Alpha’s washing machines which are located in the common area.
Please request for the reception staff to point their location to you.
Note: Washing detergent is not provided.

Around the resort
GAO Adventure Centre
Located within the resort, the GAO adventure centre offers summer and winter adventure activities.
Take the internal bus and stop at main hotel, it is a 5 minutes walk from the main gate.

ICE Village
500Yen per person to enter Tomamu Ice Village

Indoor swimming pool
Minna Minna Beach is an indoor heated swimming pool.
Entry: 2000yen for adults, 1500yen for child

Chapel on Water
Chapel on Water or Chapel on Ice (winter) offers a great experience for photography buff.
Visiting hours are limited, do check with front desk on the opening timings.

Shuttle Bus
FREE shuttle bus service for all guests

Daily Fireworks
There is daily fireworks at near the main hotel area.
Fireworks start at around 730pm, you can view it near the quad life at Hoshino Hotel.
Walk up the exit from the hotel ski rental area.

Hotalu Food Street
Located next to your apartment is the Hotalu Food Street.
11 restaurants offering Japanese, Western and Chinese meals.
A must-try is the Soup Curry and coffee at the cafe.

Snowboard Lessons
Available from 15 December to 30 March every winter.
